Hey there! Thanks for stopping by --- I'm Marcelo, a postdoctoral researcher at Case Western Reserve University, where I work within the Red Hen Lab with Prof. Mark Turner. I have just completed my PhD in Linguistics at the UFJF|FrameNet Brasil Computational Linguistics Lab under the supervision of Prof. Tiago Torrent. My dissertation focused on developing a novel frame-based multimodal-multilingual dataset (FM30K), proposing a new approach in the field of Frame Semantics for the automatic processing of combined image-text data, aiming to improve models for the development of Multimodal Machine Translation systems.
